Cataclysm Guide to the New Goblin Race

Two new races are introduced in Catacysm. The one we're going to explore here is Goblins. Goblins are said to start on the Isle of Kezan which is near Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdoms.

How does the race fit into the storyline? As the cataclysm wreaks havoc to the Isle of Kezan, the Goblins leave the island on ships. As faith would have it, they got stuck in the middle of a navel battle between the Horde and Alliance and eventually end up in the Lost Isles. This is where gamers get to level up their Goblins the first few levels.

What portrays the Goblin? Here's a general Goblin guide: First, the race gets the best discounts on gold. This goes for all factions. Next, alchemy is increased by 15 and they get more health and mana benefits from the potions prepared. Goblins can also pay to increase their attack and casting speed by 1 percent as well as have a personal servant so they can get a one minute access to the bank. Then of course, Goblins will have the ability to launch rockets and use rocket belts to jump forward. Rockes are said to cause a 30 fire damage.

Playable classes include Warrior, Shaman, Priest, Rogue, Mage, Death Knight, Hunter and Warlock.

We'll be adding more detailed guides for the race when we get more information. In the meantime, you could also visit other Cataclysm guide sites to check out what other information are available.
